Beyond Walls is an emerging blog based website that aims to capture the development and realisation of the Art and Therapeutic Design programme for the new building at Little France, Edinburgh, that will provide a new home to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, Department of Clinical Neuroscience and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Go to https://qualityessay.com/affordable-term-paper.html for affordable term papers if you want to read more about art and its positive effects on people.
The programme has been commissioned by NHS Lothian and is generously funded by the Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation and the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity. Working closely with NHS staff and the building design team Ginkgo Projects is responsible for the curation and delivery of this programme.
The blog captures the fabrication and installation of the design projects but also reflects on and promotes wider arts practice and ideas within the healthcare environment.
Our aim is to give you an insight into how we are delivering the programme through the eyes of artists, staff and patients. We hope you enjoy the posts and are keen to hear your views.
